June’s start saw Tamar Braxton give birth to a bouncing baby boy. Now, after spending a number of weeks bonding with her bundle of joy, the singer, reality TV star, and undoubtable diva has announced the name of the youngster.

The “reveal” came courtesy of a touching Father’s Day message to husband, manager, and the child’s father Vince Herbert on Instagram.

Filled with joy, the ‘Love & War’ songstress posted the following picture and message…

Happy Father’s Day to the love of my life, my best friend, my husband Vincent Herbert! Our son Logan Vincent Herbert & I are proud to share this day with you!! We love you soooooo much!!❤

It seems “Basketball Wives”, much like its equally-as-intense cousin-show “Love & Hip Hop ATL” is due for another season and pulling out all the tricks to generate buzz.

Following a tumultuous season which saw a petition to cancel the show, a domestic violence case between Evelyn Lozada and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, and her subsequent spot on “Iyanla: Fix My Life”, the cast members had a lot of explaining to do. The main topic of discussion, however, was the show’s decision not to invite former cast mates Jennifer Williams and Royce Reese back to the show.

Shauni ‘O Neal explained:

“It was a chemistry thing. It just became awkward to film or even come up with a conversation. It just wasn’t working for TV.”

Of course, Evelyn quickly interjected about Royce:

“Royce has been a non-motherf—ing factor for the last two seasons, so it just didn’t make sense anymore.”

 “And as for Jennifer—Shaunie is [being] nice but I’m going to tell you this—we don’t condone the incident with Jennifer, but we do reality TV.”

Jennifer has yet to respond via social media, but Royce Reese certainly shared her amusement with Evelyn’s comments.

It’s an early congratulations to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Today saw the controversial couple welcome their first child together – a daughter, who arrived a more than month before Kim’s due date.

Yet, despite the bundle of joy being five weeks early, both mother and child are set to be in great health and bonding at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center - where the child was born this morning

Sources say Kanye was present for the birth and cancelled his appearance at his own ‘Yeezus’ album launch party last night, after Kim said she was feeling uneasy.

Speaking on news that she and West were expecting a girl, the most famous of the Kardashian clan said: “I’m so excited we’re having a girl,” she gushed. “Like, who doesn’t want a girl? They’re the best. And I know that’s what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl.”

After years of supposed friendship, the pair began dating in April last year.

Hey, Divas! I’m finally back again and I must admit, I have to stop taking such long breaks from you! Every time I leave you, I come back with something good though, right? Right! Well, this time, I wanted to touch on a topic that I’m sure a lot of women (and possibly men) struggle with: the “out of sight, not so out of mind” syndrome.

Now, I’m sure this doesn’t seem to be important, but in all actuality it is. Let me break it down for you…

Have you ever been in a relationship and thought you were happy? I mean everything could be going GREAT! You have no complaints about that person you’re with because they’re doing everything in their power to make this as successful as possible. That is until that one ex-mate pops up on your Twitter or Instagram timeline, just so happens to send that “Hey, how have you been” message on Facebook or hits you with that God-awful, “Just checking on you” text message. Yikes.

So, what do you do now? Do you respond or do you ignore? Do you entertain or extinguish? In most cases, the outreach of the ex didn’t come without warning. Unbeknownst to us, that seemingly harmless “LOL” response to a tweet or hitting of the like button on a simple Instagram picture can [kick] open doors of communication that we weren’t really prepared for.

On the contrary, what if I told you that everything you do has a motive behind it? As women (and again, sometimes men), we have a way of being very manipulative and sneaky. As happy as we may be, we do simple things like respond to a tweet or like a picture on Instagram because deep down, we probably still haven’t gotten that person out of our mind. Hence the “out of sight, but not so out of mind” thing I was talking about.

Sometimes, I think we need that confirmation to know that we still “got it”.  As men and women, we LOVE to have our ego’s fed. So, if we see someone we used to have moving on or bragging about their current mate, we selfishly contact them to know that we still have some type of hold over them. If it sounds bad, that’s because it is. In some cases, if your mate isn’t with you during times where you may need that comfort or that reassurance, you have a tendency to reach out to something familiar to gain it. I’ve done it and I’m sure that many other women out there have too not realizing how detrimental it can become to our mental state.

Sooner than you know, you’re engaging in what seems to be a harmless conversation and then later on down the line when you’re getting text messages all throughout the day and night, you find yourself coming up with lies to tell your boyfriend as to why your ex is popping back up.

It’s hard to fight that urge to reach out when you’re lonely or when you feel like that sort of confirmation is needed in your life. Honestly though, I think once you start to recall exactly why you left that situation in the past and why you’re current situation keeps you in such good spirits, you’ll transition into not acting on your past and work towards keeping them out of mind so that they’ll continue to stay out of sight.

It seems Beyonce’s legendary curves are still not immune to “fashion-censoring”, if her battle with H&M is any indication.

Roberto Cavalli recently released a concept sketch of the singer in one of her newest tour ensembles, and the obvious reason for the controversy lies in her exaggeratedly stretched out waist and legs.

Of course, this is typical of most fashion sketches, but many-a-fan is declaring the sketch to be unrealistic in its interpretation of the female body, specifically Beyonce and her famous hips.

Do you agree Roberto was insensitive to the plight of the every day woman, or was it simply an artist’s sketch and should be viewed as such?

As the moms amongst us would attest, motherhood is such a beautiful gift. One, of course, that is embedded with challenges, yet one that is over-flowing with rewards too.

It’s for this reason and much more that we are obsessed with Oxygen’s critically acclaimed docu-series I’m Having Their Baby.

While other shows in the Reality sub-genre focus on the “drama” in a bid to create stars out of those featured, this series has resonated with all of the She Is Diva team for its warts and all depiction of adoption.

Indeed, the show perfectly captures the juxtaposition in the joy of providing another family with the gift of life and the hardship of “letting go”. It’s riveting TV, and a show that manages to be a must-watch without the need for force-fed theatrics. Who knew actual real life could be really entertaining?!
