Kelly Rowland‘s star keeps rising, keeps shining.

The ‘Kisses Down Low’ singer is building on her Super Bowl and Grammy buzz and has nabbed a coveted spot co-hosting  The Oscars Red Carpet Live.

According to Deadline, the Destiny’s Child diva will be joined by Kristin Chenoweth, Entertainment Weekly‘s Jess Cagle and Good Morning America anchor Lara Spencer for the high-profile gig.

Though “just another presenting job” to some, this is of particular significance because it’s not often women from Ms. Kelly’s background or of hue are afforded such mainstream opportunities.

 Speaking of the gig on Twitter, the 32 year old wrote:

Thank you @theacademy for inviting me to host the #Oscars Red Carpet show. I can’t wait! Tune in February 24!
