At 9-years-old she’s already making waves as the youngest star to ever be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. 

Appearing on Jay Leno last night, Quvenzhane Wallis stole the show as she oozed confidence and kept the audience laughing. With a lot of spunk and a memorable personality, we won’t be surprised if little Ms. Wallis sticks around for a long time.

Worlds away from her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild, she looked ever-so adorable in her purple themed get-up (we wonder what her favourite colour is!?) with bedazzled kicks, purple flower in her gorgeous hair and a cute matching puppy purse.

When asked who she hoped to meet at the Oscars, she listed Beyonce, Demi Lovato and Nicki Minaj. Check out the clip of the young actress in action:
