As one of the healthiest (and hottest) mama’s in Hollywood, it comes as no surprise that Jessica Alba was tapped to cover the March issue of Women’s Health.

The Latin American beauty, who glowed in a simple white tank top and destroyed denim jeans, revealed the inside scoop on her line of non-toxic family products, The Honest Company, as well as dishing on her fashion icons and style items she can’t do without.
See which six necessities she listed as her fav’s below:

1.) Denim Jacket
“Some years it’s out, but it always comes back. I like it pretty shrunken and fitted to wear over flowing dresses and skirts. (My fave is by Elizabeth and James.) You can also never go wrong with a black leather moto jacket—chic!”

2.) Sharp Coat
“So worth the investment—your outerwear is all people see half the year! Look for quality stitching, heavy buttons, and a nice lining—signs that your coat will last. This is also a place to go vintage, because then you know it has already lasted for decades. Plus, retro coats are just adorable.”

3.) The Little Black Dress
“A go-to for a date or night out with friends. Azzedine Alaia or Dolce & Gabbana if you’re going there (Diane von Furstenberg also has beautiful options): J.Crew or Target if you’re not.”

4.) Neutral T-Shirts or Tanks
“Figure out a neckline and sleeve length that work with your body. Then buy tons in white, gray, black, and tan to layer under everything. I love C&C California, LNA, and Cheap Monday—and long and lean tanks from Target hold their shape for under 10 bucks a pop.”

5.) Your Perfect Jeans
“Avoid crazy stitching and bedazzling on the back pockets. A little stretch is nice because it hugs your curves. Right now I’m loving slim boyfriend jeans: They’re so comfy and you can wear them out with heels. You can’t go wrong with Levi’s; the Gap is great too. For premium denim, I love Sevens, J Brand, and Earnest Sewn.”

6.) Fitted Blazer
“Navy or black blazers are an easy way to look stylish. Pair with an A-line dress, maxi skirt and tank, or T-shirt and jeans. I love Celine, Narciso Rodriguez, and Givenchy; for less expensive options, check Topshop, H&M, J.Crew, and the boys’ section at Brooks Brothers.”
You can never go wrong with adding a statement piece to the go-to’s listed above.
