Beyonce has joined Salma Hayek and Frida Giannini to front a new female empowerment campaign, billed ‘Chime For Change‘.
Launched to raise funds and awareness for causes close to women around the world, the campaign will receive an official announcement at the TEDxWomen luncheon today by Hayek, via a presentation that will feature new music from the ‘If I Were A Boy’ singer.
Backed by Gucci and joined by Jada Pinkett Smith, Julia Roberts and Ariana Huffington, Hayek said of the philanthropic venture:
“I believe that by working together we can change the course of history to ensure that girls and women are empowered to realise their potential and thrive.”
