Though it’s been nearly two days since ‘Mrs. Carter’ left her stiletto mark forever imprinted on the New Orleans, La. Super Dome half time stage, we still can’t get the vision of faultless pyrotechnics and sultry leather onesie’s out of our minds.
To say that Beyoncé merely ‘shut it down’ would be an understatement. Just seek confirmation from the power outage that occurred moments after her 12 minute set.
In the name of expressing our adoration of the ‘Love on Top’ singer’s performance, we’ve cultivated a list of our favorite moments that took place during the live telecast.
Find out what made the cut below:

1.) The Stage
When the camera panned out to reveal that the Texas native was standing on a platform made to resemble the outline of her face, we knew ‘Bey Season’ was indeed in full effect.

2.) All Leather Everything
Though nothing could compare to her undeniable vocal range, the black, leather and lace Rubin Singer bodysuit was definitely second in line to steal the show.

3.) Dutty Wine
While performing her 2003 hit single ‘Baby Boy’ (sans Jamaican rapper Sean Paul), the ‘Baddie’ gave a pleasant shock to the audience by performing the dance made popular in the West Indies. Piña colada, anyone?

4.) Turn Up!
Mid-‘End of Time’ dance breakdown, her reference to 2 Chainz’ ridiculously catchy phrase had us doing just that. In the words of YouTube funny man Kid Fury: ‘That was the moment that we knew Blue Ivy was somewhere performing a myriad of cartwheels.’

5.) The Return of DC3
Even though it was possibly the worst kept secret of the night, both Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams literally burst onto the stage in joining their fellow Destiny’s Child associate in performing ‘Independent Women,’ as well as ‘Single Ladies.’ Despite any talk from naysayers (*cough* Keyshia Cole), our consensus is that the girls killed!
With hearing the news of the impending ‘Mrs. Carter’ World Tour,’ we’re definitely ready for round two!

Good choices! 1. I’d have to pick the intro first b/c I love ‘Love On Top’ and hearing some of it acapella was a great way to start the show. 2. Next, I’d have to go with the choreography for ‘End of Time’ 3. Third, I’ll go with the special effects on ‘Baby Boy’ 4. The whole stage set up 5.Lastly, the way Kelly and Michele poped up for the DC reunion. Hard to limit it to 5 because I just thought the show was great–Ending it with ‘Halo’ was another highlight, proving she has stamina since her voice was still top-notch enough to hit all the right notes during the power ballad even after all of that choreography. Now I’m looking forward to the tour!
