Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams may have etched manager Mathew Knowles out of her career moving forward, but that didn’t stop the pair from smiling and profiling together at the 28th annual Stellar Awards last night in Nashville.
As many know, Williams severed business relations with Knowles (Beyonce’s father) in 2010 and has since gone on to star in a number of stage productions including ’The Color Purple’, ‘Chicago’, and more recently ‘FELA’. The 32 year old has also returned to her first love – Gospel music (hence her appearance at yesterday’s show) – and is readying a new album for release this year.
