Alicia Keys just keeps on winning!
Earlier today, Blackberry announced the release of the brand spanking new Blackberry 10, which features video calling software, a touchscreen keypad and a straight to phone music download capability- hoping to compete with market leaders Apple and Samsung.
However, as to ensure their new product generates enough creative steam as possible, they have named ‘Girl On Fire’ singer Alicia Keys their ‘Global Creative Director’.
On her role, she revealed:
“I’m definitely going to start with other super women who also love BlackBerry, and work with people in the entertainment and music business to inspire creative projects. And I want to enhance this concept, or bridging the gap between the work phone and the play phone.”

We’re inspired by this on so many levels, but for us- it’s Alicia’s continuous efforts to redefine what it means to be an influential artist that leaves us no choice but to consider picking up the product come release.
