As today is the merriest holiday of the season, we felt it was our duty to get our fellow divas in a joyous spirit by sharing our favorite Christmas-themed movies.
Get into our list of festive films below!

1.) “Home Alone”
While we’re still finding it hard to believe that any two parents could aimlessly leave their youngest child at home during the biggest family related holiday of the year, a young Macaulay Culkin definitely gave us hope that we too could handle ourselves if the same happened to us.

2.) “Friday After Next”
Due to the constant hilarity that ensues between Craig (Ice Cube) and Day-Day’s (Mike Epps) misadventures, it’s actually pretty easy to forget that the premise of this movie is actually centered around Christmas. This film will have you laughing all the way through the New Year. Guaranteed.

3.) “It’s a Wonderful Life”
This holiday classic is based around a family man who doesn’t truly get to see the purpose his life has had on others until it’s too late. Starring old Hollywood favorites like James Stewart and Donna Reed, this warm film will have you giving thanks for your loved ones this celebratory season.

4.) “The Preacher’s Wife”
As a lighthearted note in the career of the late, and amazingly great, Whitney Houston, the Grammy Award winner gave a touching performance as housewife Julia Biggs, alongside her handsome guardian angel, Denzel Washington. This one will definitely prompt you to believe in Christmas miracles.

5.) “Last Holiday”
Our final pick, and most recent film on the list, follows a shy and humble woman (Queen Latifah) as she leaves the normalcy of her everyday life to live out her dreams, all the while finding her true love (LL Cool J) during what she assumes to be her final holiday go-around. We’re loving the positive message this film brings. Don’t be afraid to live your purpose today!
So, enough of our opinions, we want to know your favorites too!
