Pantone LLC, the worldwide color guru who is  responsible for matching colors for design industries, including fashion and beauty, has decided that emerald green reigns supreme  as  the Color of the Year for 2013. Emerald represents growth, renewal and prosperity, and is the symbol of beauty and new life in many cultures . Green is great for  adding  drama to any eye color, especially browns and hazels as it intensifies them making them appear deeper and is the perfect compliment to peachy and rose blushes. Beauty retail giant Sephora has teamed up with Pantone to create the second annual Color of the Year Beauty Collection which will launch exclusively at Sephora March 2013.  The collection will feature a variety of beauty products in Emerald including eye shadow,nail polishes and accessories.   Emerald screams luxery and sophistication, the perfect choice for the new year.
