If you’re anything like us, you would have found Season 4 of ‘Basketball Wives‘ kinda embarrassing for its fiery, and at times tacky, cast.
From the bullying, man bashing/worshipping to the general lack of ‘storyline’, the season was so intense it received calls to be axed from the likes of Star Jones.
However, with Season 5 on its way, long running cast member Tami Roman has revealed there is to be ‘less drama’ this time around.
She revealed:
“People are really going to be surprised at the approach we’re going to take this season because it’s more family oriented, not as much drama. What you’ve seen in past seasons was real, but that’s not how our lives are 98% of the time. We’re excited to show you more than just the drama.”
Hmmm. For some reason we find this hard to believe. Uh huh, because with the show’s calmest girls- Jennifer, Royce and Kesha, axed from the show- we wonder how ratings will fare if the remaining girls don’t bring the heat.

I agree with you, I have a hard time believing Tami when she says there will be less drama on the new season of Basketball Wives. I do believe the first few episodes will be calm but that is usually how most of the seasons start off; I have my doubts it will stay that way. I am going to miss the season premiere because my work at DISH. Last season I had to DVR the season but I kept forgetting to set my weekly timer; this year I’m going to set my DISH Hopper to record the full program. I like that I don’t have to remember setting a weekly timer and with over 2,000 hours of entertainment space I can record BBW and my other favorite shows that are airing the same night.
