Have we suddenly become insensitive to the word B*tch? With rappers like Kanye West affectionately coining Kim K his ‘Perfect B*tch’ and famed reality tv vixens proudly proclaiming, “Im a bad b*tch”, the otherwise offensive term has become more of a compliment. Or has it? Many have touched on this topic in one form or another but as it applies to the young, intelligent, woman of color, we’d like to know just how you feel. Lets start the discussion…

yes we have become insensitive term. disenfrachised people try to take terms of oppression and turn them into terms of endearment to strip the word of its power (i.e. NIGGA, FAG, HO, etc).
bitch is no exception. but i always say, it’s not what you’re called, it’s what u answer to.
