It’s been rumored for the longest, however it has sadly been confirmed today. Kimora Lee Simmons and actor partner Djimon Hounsou are no longer together.
The couple, who never married, made the announcement to PEOPLE via 48 year old Hounsou’s rep moments ago:
“Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons have officially separated after 5½ years Though never married, they have one child together, Kenzo Lee Hounsou, who is 3½ years old.”
A constant pair of interest, the couple (according to Simmons) had “kind of sort of” been engaged since 2008.
Model turned businesswoman Kimora, 37, was famously married to Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons – who she divorced n 2006. That union birthed two children - Ming, 12, and Aoki, 10.

Cristina: did you have sex before you got marerid?if so, don’t talk. it is NO more moral to have sex before marriage and use birth control to prevent pregnancy, than it is to have sex before marriage and get pregnant.
