It was announced earlier this week that major French beauty and skin-care company, L’Oreal, had agreed to acquire the trendy, and widely popular, cosmetic brand Urban Decay.
As reported in the The Wall Street Journal, the French retailer plans on dropping a massive $300-$400 million on the deal.
While the GM of Urban Decay, Tim Warner, believes the merge ‘will enable Urban Decay to reach its full potential in the marketplace,’ Nicolas Hieronimus, president of the high-end L’Oréal Luxe division, is certain the addition ‘will beautifully complement’ the immensely successful $25 billion brand.
