Kimora Lee Simmons Kimora Lee Simmons Preps for New Reality Show

Every woman can attest that the quote ‘life goes on’ is typically a staple in our everyday lives, and Kimora Lee Simmons is no different.

The former wife of hip hop mogul Russell Simmons has definitely had her share of ups and downs, with the recent announcement of her split from 5-year beau Djimon Hounsou still making its way through headlines.

However, like the pioneer of ‘fabulosity’ that she is, the president and creative director of online shoe retailer JustFab is bouncing back with a new reality television show, entitled ‘Kimora: House of Fab.’

Unlike her previous show ‘Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane,’ this go around intends to showcase her life as a businesswoman and her JustFab team members, not her family.

The mother of two released a statement regarding her new project, saying:

“My businesses have evolved a bit. My former life is gone. I have sold all of those companies from my prior life, and my new project is JustFab.com. This is all about fashion and the tech sector, and how I have married fashion to the tech aspect, and that’s a big thing,” said Simmons. “This is an office environment with more of an ensemble. It is more like ‘The Office’ or ‘Ugly Betty.’ It is a team of people at all times, with lots of coming and going. It is less of my kids and my personal side.”

While we’ll undoubtedly miss those cute cameos by Ming, Aoki and toddler Kenzo (as well as the eye candy provided by Mr. Hounsou), we’re excited to journey back into Kimora’s glamour filled life.

Look out for the ‘House of Fab’s’ debut on the Style Network, Jan. 23.
