There’s no denying that velvet and leather are massive trends this fall, so it comes as no surprise that Rita Ora and Misha B would attempt to work the trends at 1Xtra Live at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, UK last night.

Always one to make a fashion statement, Ms. Ora stepped onto the stage in a blue velvet two-piece, fit with a crop top and matching leggings, accompanied by a Bart Simpson bomber jacket. While we admire the intention, the execution has room for improvement. With the ill-fitting leggings, it’s clear that she should have opted for a tighter fit for a sexier look.

Meanwhile, Misha B’s leather dress was just too short, too tight, too sheer and just too much.
